Erin Williamson is a freelance writer, editor and adoptive mother.  In addition to writing, she is actively involved in the adoption community, providing support and encouragement to all parties.

A note from the Author:
I have a passion for inspiring others, and I am thankful for the blessings and opportunities that have allowed me to share my life testimony. I feel complete as a wife, a mother and a follower of Jesus.  I have been happily married to my amazing husband for 9 years.  After welcoming our son in September 2009, I immediately suffered from postpartum hemorrhaging and lost all 5 liters of blood. I underwent emergency surgery to have a hysterectomy, and was resuscitated three times during this process. At the age of twenty-five many would call this a tragedy, but God used this crazy situation to turn our hearts to adoption. With an incredible adoption journey, a selfless birth mother and a supportive community, we welcomed our precious daughter into our family in April 2012.

In my spare time I pretend to be a gourmet chef, a master carpenter, the perfect domestic housewife and super-mom.

A note from the Author:
My life changed 9 years ago as I walked into a hospital at the age of 20 to meet my daughters birth mother for the first time. Since that day I have been an adoption advocate for everyone involved in the adoption community.

In May of 2002 I became Mrs. Campbell and shortly after we realized that becoming parents wouldn't come easy to us. We were blessed by a beautiful baby girl in August of 2003. Her birth mother placed her with us when she was 8 hours old. Being one of the youngest adoptive mothers came with its own set of challenges, which I overcame quickly, and realized that changes needed to be made in the adoption community.
